About Us
Gregory's Guns & Gear, LLC is a family owned and operated business formed in 2004. Although the company is young (we're not) we have a lot of knowledge and experience that we will be happy to share (with anyone that will listen). You will notice that most businesses in Ozona are closed from 12:00 - 1:00 PM for lunch and close at noon on Saturday. We realize that this may be inconvenient for some folks (especially those of you that hunt), so we decided for your convenience to be open Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM and closed Sunday and Monday . We also remain open during the lunch hour. Our home phone number is also available on the front of the store, for those of you that are passing through to hunt, and may have forgotten something insignificant like your rifle, camo clothes, boots, ammunition, etc. (it has happened). We will be happy to meet you at the store to take care of your little problem even if the store is closed.
We are firm believers in responsible use of firearms and responsible hunting ethics. Whether just out shooting for enjoyment or hunting, it is extremely important to us that the products we sell are used for the intent of their manufacture. Also proper game management will ensure that future generations will have the same or greater opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors and the hunting sports in this country.
Along that line, we believe in responsible business practices, including the refusal to sell a firearm to a person that is either not qualified to purchase one or a person that we determine may have an ill-intended purpose for the firearm. The Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms regulates the sale of firearms and licenses those that sell them. They enforce a strict code of conduct and ethics that we strictly follow. That being said, we will not sell firearms to just ANYBODY.
If while shopping you don't see what you want or need, please ask. We sometimes have stock in the back room that we don't have room for on the floor, or we can order it for you and have it in a few days. Especially those of you that come to our community to hunt. Call ahead and see if we have it and if not we will order it and have it waiting for you when you get here. If you're running late and can't make it by closing time, call and we will stay at the store and wait for you.
All that being said, we would love to see you in our newly opened store at 1008 Avenue E, Ozona, TX, even if you just come by to visit and have a cup of coffee. We don't have "fabulous restrooms" like some advertise, but it works in an emergency. We would much rather spend our time with you and keeping the store stocked and clean than building restrooms. The environment is warm and friendly and we enjoy helping folks when they are in need of some of our many products.
